Eurasian Resources Group’s plans and priorities on the African continent came into the spotlight as part of the World Economic Forum Africa Summit in Cape Town that took place from 4 to 6 September 2019.
Benedikt Sobotka, ERG’s CEO, gave an interview to CNBC Africa highlighting the role of Africa in supplying materials for global economic growth, including investment opportunities. He also touched on initiatives to spur inclusive, sustainable development in view of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Mr. Sobotka referred to the World Economic Forum’s Global Battery Alliance, a programme to share and create more value across all the participants and suppliers of key products to the batteries industry. ERG is a Strategic Partner Associate of this initiative.
