During 2017 Boss Mining provided a total of 538 academic and professional internships. The internships are intended for those university/college and high school students who wish to familiarise themselves with practice at the mine, adding the experience to their book knowledge. Internships run for one to two months.
Over and above this, from time to time Boss Mining also offers three to six month professional internships for students who had completed their training and want to improve their knowledge and experience in their respective fields.
The scientific and experiential frameworks gained have proved of significant benefit in their future careers to students at Universities in the DRC .
